The world holds its breath

It is a few hours away until the Saddam verdict is announced. Ever wonder what exactly he is charged with? I mean the exact charges? I think it is:

Saddam, 69, and seven co-accused have been charged with crimes against humanity for the killing of 148 Shi’ite villagers after an attempt on his life in the town of Dujail in 1982.

Was it worth it?

2830 American Soldier deaths and climbing

$2 Billion dollars a week in cost.

More than 600,000 Iraqi Civilians killed

Not to mention loss of America world-wide prestige.

But Baghdad gets 4 hours of power a day. So the country that put a guy on the moon can’t deliver electricity to Iraq. Damn government can’t do anything, maybe we should outsource it to the ever efficient private sector. Let Adam’s hand provide electricity. Oh yes we already are. Thanks Haliburton, KBR or whatever.

Yes, loss of a single life is tragic. Really it is. However, if America really invaded Iraq because Iraq was headed by a brutal dictator then I guess as soon as they discover oil in Sudan, America will invade Darfur and liberate those people as well.

2 days until America votes and issues its own verdict on the direction America has taken. Make yourself heard.
