Stephen Minarik and Joe Robach — dirty, rotten scoundrels.
Which is worse — Joe Robach’s bogus claim about being endorsed by Mayor Duffy or Stpehen Minarik’s assinine direct mail pieces? Both get a mention in tomorrow’s D&C piece on the election:
Willa Powell, a Democratic candidate for state senate, is knocking Republican opponent Sen. Joseph Robach, R-Greece, over a campaign mailing in which Robach is arm and arm with Mayor Robert Duffy, a Democrat.
Powell said the photo and a laudatory quote attributed to Duffy suggest Duffy has endorsed him. Duffy hasn’t made an endorsement in the race.
And here’s Joe Morelle on the Minarik mailer:
“This is as low a tactic as I’ve witnessed in nearly three decades in politics,” said county Democratic chairman Joseph Morelle, a state assemblyman.
Given that much of those three decades was spent while Minarik was the head of the Monroe County GOP, that’s saying something.
You know what? All you Hevesi haters out there — vote Hevesi just to screw Stephen Minarik, that’s my advice.

Morrelle said somethig similar about the mailings, then introduced Massa who promptly torn the mailer to pieces and started into a passionate speech. Awesome to be sure.
