DCCC “Red to Blue”s NY-29, NY-26 - updated (2)

From the folks at The Inner Loop:

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just added Eric Massa (NY-29) and Jack Davis (NY-26) to their Red to Blue List, which means they’ll get more money and logistical support from the national organization.

Good news! Come on in, join the party. Better late than never.

Update : Ok, I’m corn-fused. As Kathy B in the comments helpfully pointed out, Massa and Davis aren’t actually on the Red2Blue list (they’re still on the Emerging Races page), but the DCCC’s blog is clearly welcoming them to the R2B list. We’ll keep you posted.

Update (2): From a trusted source who heard from a DCCC staffer: ” I can confirm without a shadow of doubt that Massa is on R2B.”  Update your website, DCCC!

Not to quibble, but he is on their “emerging races” list at http://www.dccc.org/races/emerging_races/ rather than “red to blue”. Hope they can help with some ad money to counter Kuhl’s slurs with facts.

  4. Yesterday’s News…

Though the Massa campaign has been issuing press releases left and right on Kuhl’s Social Security ad, the only media coverage I’ve seen so far is an article in the Corning Leader. According to the Leader’s headline writer, the barb…

i saw a mention of this someplace (CQ maybe). Evidently the Dtrip is adding people to the “Red to Blue” list these days without guaranteeing them any additional funding. However, the designation is good for getting access to the DCCC’s high donor lists, so hopefully that means more money for the candidates, even if they have to do the phonework themselves.

    cheers,
