Massa/Kuhl 3rd debate coverage
Here’s an interesting comparison. The two roundups of the debate from last night I’ve been able to find are from The Corning Leader– relatively content-free– and The Fighting 29th, who had such detail and analysis, he had to break it up into two very chewy posts.
Obviously more coverage will come as the day goes on, but I feel safe in assuming, based on prior debate coverage, that this will be typical. Maybe this answers the question asked by the News8Now segment I was in– do the blogs affect races? They seem to be better able to document what’s going on, politically, since the blogging’s done on our own time, in our own time, and we can focus on a particular event without having to quickly move on to the next task.
Plus we can spread the news about stuff that’s a little freaky but the networks won’t touch, like this video of Kuhl from the debate last night:

I have to admit, I do get scared when Randy talks about terrorists killing me, which I’m sure is what he’s hoping. Problem is, I’m a little more afraid of him in this video than the terrorists. Take a look and see if you agree.
The media has played that out-of-context clip of Howard Dean’s rebel yell hundreds of times to date. How many times will they play this? Say it with me: “Liberal media– yeah, right.”
