Massa/Kuhl Debate Live Feed, Kuhl Ad Critique & Misc.

On the WETM website, it looks like you’ll be able to see a live feed of tonight’s debate here, starting at 8 PM.

Also found on their site: WETM’s “Truth Squad” takes aim at Kuhl’s “Massa will raise taxes” ad. Two money quotes from the analysis (I’m paraphrasing):

Kuhl justifies the attack by referencing the Dept. of Commerce’s website. “Finding any justification in there is like finding a needle in a haystack. He’ll have to be more specific to be credible on this.”

From WETM’s political expert: “[Kuhl's assertion that Massa will raise taxes] is from the twilight zone.”

Funny stuff. Unfortunate that the truth squad’s clip will play once, and Kuhl’s misleading ad will run until Randy runs out of money.

I added a link to the nifty Monroe County Voter Tool, in the right hand column under the “Tools” section. It’ll allow you to see what district you’re in and where you go to vote.

I also added a new poll, since I’m curious where the heck all you readers are coming from.

Oh, and I’ve been doing a couple things to improve the look of the site, the most noticable being the Big First Letter each post has now. Good times. Let me know if you like, you don’ like.

Big first letter - don’ like. It doesn’t line up right. Everything else is fine.

big letter is good idea but does not align as said before. It’s size is bigger than the header font size above it. It just doesn’t need to be that big.
