You may have heard about this. My dad pointed it out to me, and then I saw a dailykos diary about it. But it is worth mentioning here, I think. Anyway, if you go to Newsweek International Editions, on the left hand site of the site, you’ll see the covers of Newsweek for Europe, Latin America, Asia and the US. As my dad said, “guess which country gets the fluff?” The cover story for the Europe, Asia and Latin America editions is titled “Losing Afghanistan.” The US edition’s cover story is about a photographer who takes pictures of celebrities. You would think the ‘liberal US media’ would feature a story about the failures in Afghanistan. Or, maybe the media are not so liberal…

Anyway, it’s an amazing thing to look at. I’m really surprised Newsweek hasn’t taken the covers off of their site.
