We don’t usualy publicize fundraisers here, but this one sounds really cool: Fairport native and Academy Award winner Philip Seymour Hoffman is appearing at an event for Patricia Gallagher (who is running for Family Court Judge). Here’s the details: on Thursday, September 7, there will be a special viewing of Capote starring Philip Seymour Hoffman followed by Q&A Session at the Little Theatre I — 240 East Avenue at 7:30 pm with your $50 donation. Reservations preferred — seating is limited. Call (585) 621-2998 or go to the site for the event to reserve your seats on line.
