		<description>Related, I read a few years ago (Can't back it up with an article because it was a longtime ago) that when you compare abortion rates in countries where it's legal with countries where it's illegal... they're almost identical.  The real kicker is that mortality of women goes through the roof when it's illegal.

Point is, if people are desperate enough to have an abortion (which I'd wager to say is just about everyone who has one), then they're going to do it.  The question is should we legislate women to back alleys, or allow doctors to perform the procedure?

Hope you're feeling better... glad you don't need to go to a back alley for treatment too.</description>
