It’s official: the 29th’s paper of record — the Elmira Star-Gazette — is reporting that WHAM Channel 13 did not pull the “Dumping Billions” commercial, as the Kuhl campaign claimed in a press release on Friday.

“We did not pull the ad,” said Chuck Samuels, vice president and general manager of WHAM 13 in Rochester. “The time the ad was scheduled to air expired Thursday.”

In this case, at least, the Kuhl campaign really has been caught red-handed, lying about the actions of a local television station. Fighting 29th has more.
