fair and balanced
Those lucky few of you who read this blog regularly know that there is nothing I like better than chewing over the letters to the editor in the Elmira Star-Gazette. What we have here seems to be something new — a pro-Kuhl letter so ridiculous it qualifies as a strange form of satire:
As a frequent viewer of Fox News, I have learned that these outside interest groups are voraciously targeting Republican congressmen to help Democrats regain control of the House.

Well it is true. I guess if you define outside groups that those are outside the Republican way of thinking. While away on Business I became a frequent viewer of Fox news.
I learned that Ms Pac-Man (yes the vid game character) is a lesbian.
I learned that you can talk for entire segments wondering out loud who is paying for the American citizens to evacuate from Lebanon. (who cares)
I also learned that you can lose count quickly of how many time Iran and Hezbollah are used in the same sentence.
This was the week of Jul17 on Fox and friends.
I was struck by this passage in the LTE
“”– conservative, down-to-earth people who want smaller government and lower taxes, not increased government spending.”
How much per minute is being spent in Iraq?
Lower taxes? Is this person related to Paris Hilton?
Stlo7
stlo7 gets the “RochesterTurning” award for “talks least, says most”. Your last couple paragraphs there show how a response LTE almost writes itself.
And, good man subjecting yourself to Fox-news watching for the cause. I’d have to take several showers a day to wash off the smearing.
