Rumors of his sanity were greatly exaggerated

Earlier I suggested that Randy Kuhl was sane and that he would eventually stop it with the “good news about Iraq” idocy being pushed by Cheney and Rumfseld. I take it all back. He may be crazier than Rumsfeld. As reported earlier, he just retrurned from a “fact-finding” mission to Iraq: it looks like he found about as many facts as there were WMDs. Here’s a few choice quotes

“I think our tax dollars are being well spent,”

Does anybody else believe this? Other than the board of directors at Halliburton, I mean.

“I think we’ll start to see significant numbers of U.S. troops coming home by the end of this year,”

You mean in October, just before the elections?,

And then the inevitable garbage about “tough questions”:

Kuhl said he and the four other members of Congress had a chance to ask tough questions of Army Gen. George W. Casey Jr., the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq.

Example? Or were the questions so tough they can’t be reprinted in a family newspaper? Come on, what were they? At least give us one example.
