one man protest gets major local coverage

Our very own optimusprime staged a one man demonstration outside of Randy Kuhl’s Fairport office to protest the Congressmen’s decision to vote against the stem cell research bill. Three local stations picked it up. Channel 8 did an extended piece on stem cell research that featured a lot of the one man demonstration. Here’s the video and here’s a write-up.
We’ll have more up about this later. In the meantime, let’s hear it for optimusprime. He’s singlehandedly publicized an important issue that much of the local media had been ignoring!
