Massa Campaign Headquarters Opening Saturday

(bumped up — please come to some of these events if you can!)

Eric Massa’s campaign headquarters will be opening Saturday. Join us for the official opening, starting at 11:00 a.m. at 15 State Street in Pittsford and bring a friend (or a few) to meet Eric Massa and demonstrate your support for this dynamic, progressive candidate.

If you can’t make it to headquarters this week-end (or even if you can) we’re also looking for supporters to join us at a few events around the area.

Eric will be in Wellsville on Friday late afternoon and evening for the balloon rally. On Friday at 7:00 while Eric may be floating high above Wellsville we are asking volunteers to join campaign staff for the Rush Firemen’s parade. At this parade volunteers will be marching behind a Massa banner. If you are interested please email Dave Marion. Volunteers will be meeting at St. Joseph’s Church at 6:30. The church is located on 15A. (6105 Rush Lima Rd, Rush, NY, (585) 533-1491)

On Saturday, in addtion to the office opening, Eric will be marching in the Chili festival parade. We’re looking for 10 to 12 volunteers to join Eric at the parade which starts at 3:00. Volunteers will be meeting at 2:30. As I was posting this I realized I forgot to ask where! If you’re interested please email me and I’ll know by then.

If you’re not up to marching about, you can sit still and help the campaign. There will be phone banking to spread the word about Eric to local Democrats next week on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-8 at the Monroe County Democratic Committee headquarters (NOT MASSA HQ - they’re not set up yet for it). This is located at 1150 University Avenue in Rochester. If you’d like to sign up please e-mail me. Those who participated last night felt it was a positive and productive effort.

Hope to see you this week-end!

We’ll be meeting at Archer and Labrea in Chili at 2:30, and distributing literature and candy along the route. We were in Rush tonight and had a great response from the crowd. The parade route can be found at:
