Kuhl and Walsh listed among most vulernable incumbents
The new Cook political report is out and it lists both Randy Kuhl and James Walsh as among the most vulernable incumbents in the country. A word on the report and the terminology: Charlie Cook is probably the most respected political prognosticator in American politics today. He has broken all 435 Congressional races into seven categories: solid Republican, solid Democrat, likely Republican, likely Democrat, lean Republican, lean Democrat, and toss-up. Over 80 percent of all races are listed as solid Republican or solid Democrat. The Massa/Kuhl race is listed as “leans Republican” placing it as one of the 30 most competitive races involving Republican incumbents, while the Maffei/Walsh race is listed as “likely Republican”, putting it in the top 50.
What does this mean? It means that both these races are winnable. It also means we have a lot of work to do if we’re going to win them. If you delve deeper into the report, you’ll see that not only do we have a chance to win both these races, but we also have a chance to take back the House of Representatives. There are about 50 vulnerable Republicans. And we’ve got two of them right here. Let’s get to work. Follow the links for the Maffei and Massa campaigns listed here, and if you want to start taking the country back from the incompetent Republican crooks who are running it now.

Thanks TomT– these are definitely winnable, especially since I just read in the MetroJustice newsletter that we’re keeping the lever voting machines this year.
At this point, I don’t even care about investigations, subpoena power, or the improved legislation from a Dem House. I just want to stop our country’s bleeding. If we can’t stop the right-wing destruction of the middle class, we can sure as hell slow it down until we have something to combat their noise machine and infrastructure a little better.
