Dan Maffei Accepts Online Interview from Rochester Turning
Let the Interviews Begin!
I recently extended an invitation to Dan Maffei’s Campaign Manager to see if they would be willing to give us an online interview with Mr. Maffei. This morning, I was pleased to see a very enthusiastic yes in my email box!
This is a new concept for me, so I guess we’ll just put it out there… if anyone has questions they’d like Mr. Maffei to answer, post them in the comments section. The editors of this site will select a number of your questions which will ultimately be put before the candidate. When you ask questions, please indicate where you are writing from.
Dan Maffei is running for Congress in the 25th District and is facing Paloma Capanna in the Democratic Primary. If successful, Maffei will go on to face Republican Incumbent Jim Walsh in the November General Election.  The Rochester portion of the 25th District includes Irondequoit, Webster, and parts of Penfield.

I’ve seen Walsh commercials on TV already. How is Dan going to counter with presumably a much smaller budget to work with? Also, as far as strategy is concerned, how does the monroe county portion of the district come into play for him?

I’m going to collect questions and submit them to the campaign… We’re probably going to publish an interview in a week or 2 (based on my schedule)
